Jesus Taught About Forgiveness

  • Sunday: “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Ephesians 4:32
  • Monday: “See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15
  • Tuesday: “Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By the measure you use, it will be measured and added to you.” Mark 4:24
  • Wednesday: “Accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive.” Colossians 3:13
  • Thursday “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgivehim, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.” Mark 11:25
  • Friday: “Don’t say, “I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the Lord, and He will rescue you.” Proverbs 20:22

  • Sunday: “God’s love was revealed among us in this way:[a] God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.” 1 John 4:9
  • Monday: “the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love therefore, I have continued to extend faithful love to you.” Jeremiah 31:3
  • Tuesday: “As the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you. Remain in My love.” John 15:9

  • Sunday: “For they all gave out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she possessed—all she had to live on.” Mark 12:44
  • Monday: “Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

The Crowd Welcomed Jesus

  • Sunday: “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
  • Monday: “Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9
  • Tuesday: “The Spirit of the Lord God is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners” Isaiah 61:1

  • Friday: “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; He was despised, and we didn’t value Him.” Isaiah 53:3
  • Saturday: “See, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant you desire—see, He is coming,” says the Lord of Hosts.” Malachi 3:1

Crucifixion and Resurrection

  • Sunday: “Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10
  • Monday: “Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses, and He carried our pains; but we in turn regarded Him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.” Isaiah 53:4
  • Tuesday: “When the disciples heard this, they were utterly astonished and asked, “Then who can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:25-26
  • Wednesday: “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
  • Thursday: “Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.” Hebrews 7:25
  • Friday: “For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm.” 1 Peter 3:18
  • Saturday: “For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!” Romans 5:10
