but there is joy in the morning

Lamp Lighter

  • When the night seems its darkest God’s light is most evident. Though it may be a sliver on the horizon it is our beacon of hope.

I.The Darkest Hour

      • For Paul - vs 1 “Breathing out”
      • For the Church - vs 1-2
      • For Judaism - was a stain, a blight on them

II.The Dawn

      • Church received a slight reprieve from persecution
          • v. 24  was a plot to kill Saul
          • other zealous Jews were determined to end the Way
      • Paul’s Life Changed Forever
          • Luke 7:47 Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”

Here’s What Happens:

      • The Church Intercedes (intercessory prayer)
      • God Intervenes
            • Eliminates
            • Alleviates
            • Waits
  • When the night seems its darkest God’s light is most evident. Though it may be a sliver on the horizon it is our beacon of hope.
