I was born and raised in a large farming community in central California called Visalia. I grew up going to church every Sunday with my family and was saved at an early age. In High School I was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis, a heart valve defect, and was recommended for surgery. The love I had experienced and the realization of how short life really is brought into perspective the call the Lord places on Christians and to me specifically.
I went to college in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Tech University for three years not really knowing what the Lord had in store for me. It was when I attended a mission trip in New Orleans that I realized my call to ministry.
I met Allison, my wife, in a community group for the church we were attending and the Lord blessed me with a lifelong partner. I finished my degree at Wayland Baptist University and I am currently attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing masters in Divinity.
I was always taught wherever your feet may be, may they be doing ministry. So following this teaching I was led to SGBC where I am currently called as Student Ministry Director. I am thrilled to see what the Lord has in store for our Church and how He is moving within it.
