SGBC Ministries

There are always several possibilities for you if you are excited about learning and understanding the Word of God.

Our Sunday Morning schedule includes an age appropriate group Bible Study for everyone from the youngest to the oldest. Our Children's Ministries focuses on Bible studies that are clear and simple and easily understood from an age-appropriate perspective. Youth (7-12th grade) meet together. There are four Adult study groups.

Our Youth Bible Studies are geared for the fast-paced lifestyle of Youth. Often built around various activities, they provide a venue the kids find exciting and dynamic.

On Wednesday evening our Pastor teaches a verse by verse study of various books of the Bible.

Adult Bible Studies offer both topical and Bible book series with a flavor that suits the age groupings.

On Wednesday evening there may be one or several studies going on.
If you want to hear and learn the Word of God, Shady Grove is a good place.

Special Services
All of our facilities are handicap accessible with handicap parking close to the building. In addition we provide valet parking for those who may need such service, or on rainy days when you forget your umbrella. If you need any special assistance, please drive through our covered entry way where you will find someone waiting to help you.

  • Missions

    Shady Grove is involved in several Mission Adventures each year. Our Youth plan at least one mission trip each summer as do our Adult Mission team. Missions may be local or in other areas of the Nation. Our design is to reach out to those in need where ever the Father may lead us.

  • Adult Bible Studies

    Bible Study Classes Sunday Morning

    Any age can go to any class. We want you to find a class that you are comfortable in. Below are the classes and their average age groups.

    New Beginnings -Jim & Diana Whitehead

    Adult 1 (parents of school age kids)-Maury Sledd

    Adult 2 (empty nesters)-Terry Holsinger

    Adult 3 (seniors)- Bruce Medley

    Bible Study
    Sundays 9:30-10:30 is adult Sunday School.

    Wednesday Night
    6:30-7pm prayer time
    7-8pm adult bible study

    All church supper
    Last Wednesday of the month
    6:30-7:30pm. Bring your food to share

    Women on Mission
    An active, busy schedule for the women of Shady Grove includes a monthly mission meeting, as well as planning and scheduling Church lunches and dinners, trips to local performances (Christmas Shows, The Promise, local concerts, etc.) collecting and distributing food and clothing for the needy, adopting families in need for Christmas, and providing necessities and gifts for other caring entities, all undertaken to support the ministry of our Body.

    Men: Opportunities for trips (hunting, fishing, skiing, canoeing, etc.) are always available, and working together to keep our facilities in the best condition possible are a part of our ministry to the Body.
