I am a Fort Worth native and have lived in the area most of my life.

I grew up in and out of church. I attended Sunday school, children’s church and church camp but it wasn’t until I was 18 that I was saved, and the Lord changed my life forever.​

After graduating Castleberry High school I crammed four years of college into six and graduated from Arlington Baptist College in 1997. While there I met my beautiful wife, Jeanette. We were married right after I graduated. God has blessed us with four wonderful children: Jase, Jake, Jorja and Julia.

Over the past 20 plus years I have served in various ministry capacities: Jr. high, Sr. high, college, adult S.S. teacher, music minister and Sr. Pastor. In 2007, through Providence, I was led to SGBC where I was called as Student Pastor.   In August 2018 I was called as Senior Pastor.  I’m excited about  how God is moving in SGBC and what He has in store for our future.
